We are seeking a skilled Senior Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team at Influx Building Technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, have experience working within the construction industry, and have experience with Sage Accounting Software. As Senior Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Manage Cash Flow; calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.
• Manage monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both electronic and hard copy.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
• Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
• Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience working as an Accounting Clerk or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Sage accounting software is required.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
