Clinical Scheduler needed (Temp-to-Hire) - Experience Required!!!

Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience)

We’re hiring an experienced Clinical Scheduler with a background in surgery scheduling and prior authorizations. This is a fast-paced, patient-focused role requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and grace.

Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
Schedule all clinical testing and procedures outside the office (e.g., sleep studies, CT scans, PET scans, bronchoscopies)

Coordinate with external facilities and obtain prior authorizations for all scheduled procedures
Act as a liaison between patients, nurses, and providers by answering patient calls and relaying messages
Create and manage telephone encounters for the nursing team
Ensure timely communication and scheduling accuracy
Provide clerical and administrative support to physicians and clinical staff

Qualifications:
Surgery scheduling experience is required
Knowledge of insurance processes and prior authorization procedures
Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a clinical environment
Team player who is outgoing, personable, and proactive
Punctuality and reliability are critical
