The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling, an eagerness to learn new design tools and techniques, and a solid foundation in design principles. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced designers and marketing professionals to create engaging visuals that support real-world projects. This internship offers the opportunity to build your portfolio, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to meaningful design solutions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on design projects to transform creative concepts into engaging visuals that support organizational goals and brand identity.
  • Create layouts and design assets for print, digital, and multimedia channels (e.g., signage, posters, website, social media, email).
  • Ensure all creative output aligns with brand standards and meets quality expectations.
  • Develop designs based on creative briefs and intakes, presenting ideas to colleagues and internal clients for feedback and approval.
  • Prepare final layouts and production-ready files execution.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and deadlines.
  • Contribute to marketing, branding, and communication materials that strengthen the organization’s digital presence and identity.
  • Explore and apply new design tools and techniques to enhance creativity, efficiency, and visual impact.
  • Work collaboratively in a professional office environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign,).
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • High School Diploma and current enrollment in university required.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, internal employees, and customers.

What can you expect?

  • You must be able to work at least 40 hours a week. The schedule is Monday through Friday.
