The Marketing Associate supports the success of the organization by contributing to a variety of marketing and sales initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, a skilled problem solver, and able to contribute proactively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role reports directly to the Marketing Manager and may independently execute tasks to ensure continuity and success of marketing efforts. Assist in strategizing, organizing, and executing marketing and advertising initiatives and activities Track and calendar events and initiatives Set up and prepare ahead of conferences and events Coordinate, submit, and claim Marketing Development Funds Content Creation & Digital Marketing Write copy and create graphics for ads, social media, emails, etc. Create and schedule posts on business social media pages Maintain public relations when necessary Create and edit presentation decks and sales collateral Analytics & Reporting Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns Perform market analysis and research on competition Prepare and distribute internal reporting Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM) Pull and enrich contact lists for sales and marketing initiatives Help distribute marketing materials Keep inventory of marketing materials and prepare swag bags for sales and marketing Forward calls, take messages, and call customers when necessary Support the marketing and sales departments in daily administrative tasks, occasional errands, and other duties as necessary To be most successful, you should possess traits including: Education & Experience Some college education required or equivalent experience; includes current students, recent graduates, or career changers Technical & Industry Knowledge Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Illustrator competency (or equivalent tools) Preferred knowledge of SEO & SEM Soft Skills & Work Ethic Strong problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize and multitask Interpersonal, partnership, and communication skills Positive and professional demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized Other Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods of time Our hiring process Personality & Culture Assessment This 10-minute assessment gives insight into your working style and strengths for the role.
