Position: Marketing and Digital Media Coordinator We seek an experienced marketing and digital media manager who is passionate about food, farms and social change, and who believes the role of marketing is not just about reaching the consumer or others in the food world, but interfacing with our sales team and developing custom marketing support to a variety of stores. Each customer works differently so it is also about understanding best approaches. Within this scope, the marketing manager must have the ability to write, edit and shape the messaging and storytelling about our brand as it relates to sales, consumers and special initiatives. Looking for a person who has the ability lead, “jump right in” and “take charge”. Job Responsibilities: Develop and implement B2B and direct-to eater brand and marketing strategies, working closely with Executive Director, Art Director and RT team. Develop, manage and implement marketing and promotion of RT programs, including Trade and Sales, EcoCertified, Bypass and other initiatives, in collaboration with RT team, farmers, and other partners.•Ability to interview, write, edit and update grower stories and special programs. Support development and implementation of expanded Eco marketing program, working closely with Founder, Special Projects Director, and partners. Translate program and mission-based work into compelling stories that can inspire a broader audience, including consumers and funders. Incorporate current consumer research and insights, customer feedback, and emerging food system thought into RT marketing.•Build and track metrics to measure RT reach and impact. Develop and implement annual plans and budget as part of the Marketing Strategic Plan. Digital Marketing: Maintain and develop website, enews, social media platforms, and digital content and communications consistent with RT and Eco brand and organizational goals. Build a strong, engaged digital community through targeted and collaborative digital media campaigns amplified by growers, customers, and other partners. Trade and Business Development Marketing: Plan and implement customized marketing support for RT customers, including marketing materials, sales presentations, demos and events, in collaboration with Trade and Supply Chain team. Support and implement Business Development strategy and initiatives in collaboration with Trade and Supply Chain team. Other Responsibilities: Represent Red Tomato at events, and assist in general office support. Requirements: Minimum 5 years relevant marketing or communications experience; more experience desirable. Experience in food or farming also desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills, one-on-one and in groups. Experience with Excel, Word, Wordpress, Mailchimp and other basic digital tools. Knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm in standard and emerging digital media platforms, (ie: website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) Experience in setting and achieving marketing metrics and goals. Creative, organized, self-directed and disciplined. Team player on a mission-driven, small team; able to work both collaboratively and independently and make a positive contribution to workplace culture.
