As a global leader in smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector IV to help save lives by assisting in the inspection of fire alarm equipment. The role involves conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safety product lines. Responsibilities include inspecting and testing fire alarm systems and associated devices to ensure they are fully functional and operational, completing inspection reports and documents, following a structured inspection schedule, and performing duties with safety as a priority. The position requires a high level of customer service, ability to work well with others, strong organizational skills, and physical capability to carry equipment and climb ladders. A high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, valid driver's license, and ability to pass background and drug tests are required. Preferred qualifications include experience reading blueprints, using hand tools and barcode scanners, and obtaining NICET Level II certification with company support.
