Construction Sales Representative

A building construction company is searching for a dynamic Sales Representative that will drive business development and revenue growth for our home remodeling company. This is a highly visible role requiring a motivated, self-directed professional who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

High Commission Pay for the RIGHT Candidate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Be responsible for the sales effort with homeowners, building owners and real estate agents providing interior and exterior remodeling and repair.

· Generate sales opportunities and prepare specifics for estimating and coordinating with the project managers and operations personnel to complete the project.

· Maintain accurate documentation of pricing structures, floor plans, project elevations, options, and customer records across systems (CRM, QuickBooks, shared drives).

· Work directly with subcontractors and vendors to secure up-to-date pricing and timelines.

· Conduct site visits to evaluate project scope and prepare detailed, competitive estimates.

· Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and help resolve any complaints.

· Draft and finalize customer contracts clearly outlining scope, pricing, and timelines

· Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, agents, lenders, architects, engineers, and inspectors.

· Maintain current knowledge of construction trends, materials, codes, and the competitive landscape.

Essential Qualifications

· 3 years’ experience in construction sales, estimating, bidding, and pricing.

· High School Diploma or GED is required. ; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Construction Management is a plus.

· Prior experience in insurance-related sales (e.g., roofing, storm restoration) is highly desirable.

· Strong knowledge of residential construction practices, materials, labor requirements, timelines, and building codes.

· Exceptional negotiation and closing skills with a focus on creating win-win agreements.

· Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

· QuickBooks (estimating/invoicing)

· Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

· Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)

· CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

· Social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
