We’re looking for a talented, creative and enthusiastic UI Artist to join our 10+ people Art Team in Montreal. In this role you will help shape the creative vision for our game NFL SUPERBOWL SLOTS that is currently in production. 

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining UI systems for casual mobile games developed in Unity. You will report to the Lead UI Artist and will work closely with UX, Tech Art, FX, and Art Direction, while also communicating with other departments in an innovative and highly collaborative environment. 

Candidates should possess exceptional Art/Design skills in Photoshop, adept understanding of Unity pipeline and user interface asset integration pipelines, as well as an understanding of Mobile Games. In this role you are expected to push the art, polish and usability of our game while working within the IP-d brand and the technical limitations of a live mobile title.

What You’ll Do

• Understanding game feature flows and creating high-fidelity mockups that support UX Design.

• Creation and implementation of high-quality UI assets using Photoshop, based on defined look and feel.

• Maintain, update and own UI style guides and documentation.

• Partner with Tech Art and Engineering to instill and support UI integration best practices.

• Proactively engage in ongoing feature development through constant communication with discipline leads and stakeholders.

• Continuously improve the polish on existing and new designs.

What We're Looking For

• Expert in Photoshop
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking
• A clear understanding of art optimization, game and engine constraints
• Comfortable planning and estimating UI effort for projects
• Portfolio demonstrating in-depth UI design examples and process
• Adept at task management & tracking, advanced use of tools like Confluence & Jira
• Ability to understand pre-established art direction and apply to new features
• Excellent communication and highly-collaborative spirit
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Flexible approach to work, as our processes are still evolving with the project
