**Job Description: Cath Lab Tech/IR Lab Tech**

**Position Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech/IR Lab Tech for a 4x10-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology environment and will have the skills necessary to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced procedural area.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Perform a variety of advanced cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Ensure accurate patient monitoring and preparation, including baseline measurements.
- Assist physicians during procedures involving angioplasty, electrophysiology, and device implantation.
- Maintain proficiency with equipment, including Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy suites as well as hemodynamics monitors.
- Perform EKG lead placement and obtain vital signs.
- Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in hemodynamic monitoring, right and left heart catheterization, and cardiac stent placement.
- Be available for on-call duties as part of the call rotation team (7-12 days of call every 6 weeks).
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists and pharmacy, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

**Requirements:**

- Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, and RCIS with IR Tech experience.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in a Cath Lab setting, particularly with cardiac rhythm management and pain management procedures.
- Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must reside within a 30-minute radius of the facility for on-call availability.

**Unit Information:**

- Daily procedural volume of 8 cases with an average of 280 cases per month, including STEMI interventions.
- The Cath Lab is equipped with four procedure rooms specializing in various cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Work alongside a dedicated team of professionals in a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment.

**Additional Details:**

- The position requires weekends and holiday coverage as part of the on-call responsibilities.
- No floating to other facilities required.
- Must be comfortable with advanced technology and charting systems, preferably with experience in Community Hospital settings.
