Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Hybrid Position in Woodland Hills, CA (2 days in-office, 3 days remote) Position Summary As part of the Operations Department, the Talent Acquisition Manager leads HeyTutors national tutor recruitment and deployment efforts. Reporting to the Operations Director, this individual oversees a team responsible for recruiting, screening, hiring, and onboarding tutors for in-person tutoring programs across multiple school districts nationwide. The Talent Acquisition Manager ensures the team meets fulfillment goals, maintains strong candidate pipelines, and upholds HeyTutors commitment to providing exceptional educational support. Responsibilities Oversee tutor recruitment pipelines for 10+ school districts nationwide, ensuring fulfillment targets are achieved. Develop and optimize scalable recruitment strategies, including sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement. Monitor key hiring metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, fulfillment rate) and adjust strategies as needed. Manage and mentor a team of Talent Screening Specialists and District Onboarding Specialists (6+ team members). Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the recruitment function. Partner with Customer Success, Program Management, and Partnerships teams to align recruitment efforts with program timelines and district needs. Represent the Talent Acquisition team in Implementation Meetings with school districts and internal stakeholders. Ensure smooth handoff from recruitment to onboarding and deployment. Meet weekly with the Talent Acquisition Team, overseen by the Operations Director, to present progress toward hiring goals. Lead daily team meetings to review priorities, address bottlenecks, and track key performance metrics. Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and recommend process improvements. Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Minimum Bachelors Degree from a 4-year accredited college/university At least 3 years of leadership experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, and/or operations related role Proven ability to self-manage, prioritize, and effectively lead teams through complex, mission-critical projects Strong data analysis and reporting skills (ATS experience a plus) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in use of common corporate office software Preference for candidates with experience in education staffing, K12 partnerships, or high-volume hiring environments.
