We expect sports coaches to be masters of their craft and share their passion, talent, and experience in the classroom. We are looking for a highly motivated, knowledgeable, and results-driven Sports Performance, Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our community. As the Sports Performance, Strength & Conditioning Coach, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive programs that enhance the athletic performance and overall well-being of our scholar-athletes. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic educational environment committed to fostering excellence in academics and athletics. Key Responsibilities Design and implement individualized strength and conditioning programs tailored to the needs and goals of scholar-athletes. Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate scholar-athletes’ strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. Utilize evidence-based practices to design progressive training protocols focusing on strength, speed, agility, flexibility, and injury prevention. Conduct group workshops and training sessions for sports teams and individual athletes. Instruct proper techniques for weightlifting, cardiovascular exercises, and other fitness activities. Provide guidance on nutrition and recovery strategies to optimize performance and promote overall health. Track scholar-athletes’ progress and performance improvements over time. Adjust training programs based on assessment results and feedback to ensure continuous development and growth. Maintain detailed records of workouts, attendance, and performance metrics. Collaborate with sports coaches and athletic staff to support athletes’ development and performance goals. Communicate regularly with coaches, parents, and school administrators regarding student-athletes’ progress and program updates. Promote a positive and motivating environment that fosters teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Qualifications 2-3 years of experience working as a strength coach or personal trainer, preferably in a high school or collegiate setting. Ability to manage both administrative and coaching aspects of the position in a timely and organized manner. Previous experience designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs, preferably with collegiate, high school, or youth athletes. Commitment to the growth and development of scholar-athletes both on and off the field. Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or related field. Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification preferred.
