This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support an elementary school setting. The role is full-time, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, focusing on providing speech and language services to an elementary caseload. Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience to effectively contribute to student progress and success.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid SLPA certification
• Minimum of 1 year experience working as an SLPA
• Experience supporting elementary-aged students with speech and language needs
• Ability to implement therapy plans under supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with school-based caseload management

Location:

• Situated in Poteet, TX, serving the elementary school community.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language intervention and support for students in an elementary school environment
• Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in assessment and therapy planning
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress notes
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student learning goals
• Participate in team meetings and provide input on student communication needs
