Job Description

A K-12 speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) role is available for a full school year contract based in Clovis, NM. This onsite assignment within a public school setting involves providing direct and indirect speech services aligned with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) across multiple school buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services according to student IEPs
• Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and students during crisis and high-stress situations using excellent communication skills
• Adapt to working across multiple school sites as needed throughout the day
• Maintain compliance with all certification and program requirements in a fast-paced school environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Speech Communications or Associate degree from an SLPA program
• Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to travel between multiple buildings during the workday
• Commitment to onsite work; virtual options are not available
