Job Description

This opportunity is for Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Mesa, AZ. We seek dedicated educators to provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Positions Available:

• Self-Contained Teacher: Focus on early elementary students with intellectual disabilities
• Resource Teachers: Support students in various grade levels with individualized learning plans

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver specialized instruction using evidence-based teaching strategies
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction as needed
• Manage classroom environments that foster positive behavior and engagement

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification with an endorsement in Special Education
• Experience working with students with intellectual disabilities and other special needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create and adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learning styles
• Commitment to student-centered instructional practices
