About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Development to spearhead and expand its fundraising operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a multi-channel fundraising strategy, with a focus on special events, corporate partnerships, major gifts, planned giving, and foundation support. This role is pivotal in achieving the organization's ambitious five-year revenue growth plan and requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in fundraising, particularly in the areas of major gifts and special events. The SVP will also be instrumental in strengthening existing revenue streams, identifying new opportunities, and building the necessary systems and infrastructure to support long-term fundraising performance and donor retention. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of fundraising leadership experience, ideally in a nonprofit setting, and a passion for the mission of the organization. The role demands a leader with strong team management skills, the ability to motivate and grow a high-performing team, and a commitment to a mission-driven, equity-centered approach to philanthropy. The SVP will work closely with the Executive Team and the Board of Directors to elevate fundraising capabilities and ensure that development goals are aligned with the organization's marketing and communications efforts.
