This segment-leading land-based slot game company is hiring a Unity Game Developer in Chicago, IL .

Position Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Unity developer to turn a game idea into code in a fast-moving environment. You will be involved in various aspects of the game's creation from concept to finished product including programming, audio, design, production, and visual arts. This is a Hybrid role based in Chicago, IL . You must be open to relocation for this role.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team of developers with hands on participation in the project
• Analyze, design and develop new programs and maintain and enhance existing software
• Provide technical direction in new systems development and enhancement of existing systems
• Participate in production support and problem resolution
• Test and debug programs for accuracy and functionality
• Participate in research and development of experimental designs and systems
• Mentoring of non-senior development staff

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related degree
• 8+ years experience in a team leadership position
• Strong knowledge and experience of C++, C# .Net
• Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented development techniques
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Visual Studio .Net development tools
• Understanding of relational database, stored procedures and data access methods
• Experience with MS SQL Server, other relational Databases
• Agile Development

Preferred

• Hands-on Developer, not a manager
• Server Based Gaming experience
• Server-side mobile game development
• Microsoft development certifications
• Experience with installation packages
• Experience designing, building and installing web services
