Job Description

A growing global manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Information Security Administrator to join its expanding IT and security team. This newly created role was added to support continued business growth and ongoing investments in cybersecurity and infrastructure modernization.

Reporting to the Director of Information Security, the Security Administrator will work closely with a team of engineers and analysts to strengthen enterprise security posture across multiple sites. This role will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security events, auditing systems for functionality and compliance, and leading projects to implement new security tools and controls.

The position also includes hands-on IT functions such as network management, software and email support, and identity management. The ideal candidate will have experience managing SOC operations, coordinating with third parties, performing health checks on security tools, and presenting key metrics on security performance (e.g., phishing trends, agent deployment, and system health). Strong communication, organization, and project management skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Technologies: Proofpoint, Microsoft Defender, Rapid7 (vulnerability management), Cisco Meraki

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an Information Security Administrator or in a similar cybersecurity role
• Experience with SIEM tools, log analysis, and incident response
• Strong background in Microsoft technologies, including Office 365
• Familiarity with Rapid7 or Splunk for vulnerability management
• Bachelors degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
