School Nurse / LVN or RN

We are excited to invite passionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our committed school nursing team. In this rewarding role, you will provide specialized care to medically fragile children within various school districts. We are seeking experienced nurses who can address complex medical needs, ensuring each student receives the tailored support they require.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct care to students with medically intricate conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with school staff to foster a safe and nurturing environment.
• Administer medications, manage medical equipment, and perform necessary procedures.
• Monitor and address students' daily health requirements, including feeding tubes, respiratory support, and chronic conditions.

Requirements:

• 1 year of nursing experience (as either an LVN or RN).
• Current physical exam (obtained within the last year).
• PPD test (within the last year) or chest x-ray if PPD is positive.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Fingerprinting required.

Preferred Experience:

• Ventilator care (experience with pediatric ventilator support).
• Tracheostomies (including trach care, suctioning, and management).
• Diabetes management (insulin administration, blood glucose monitoring, and hypoglycemia interventions).
• Catheterization (for students needing intermittent or indwelling catheters).
• Tube feedings (gastrostomy or nasogastric tube feedings).

We offer full-time , part-time , and per diem positions, with flexible scheduling options tailored to your availability.

Compensation:

• $28-34/hour , based on your experience.
