The Revenue Transaction Coordinator enthusiastically represents SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment by displaying a positive attitude, maintaining a high level of energy, and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.

What you get to do:
The Revenue Transaction Coordinator is responsible to perform all daily, weekly, and monthly Revenue Transaction duties, including, but not limited to: revenue transaction input, filing, inventory report creation, Over/Short reconciliation report creation. This role supervises the receipt of funds from guests and team members, disbursement of funds, and recording of monetary transactions. You will also:
  • Prepare daily deposit(s) including miscellaneous debit and credit transactions
  • Perform cashier duties in park to ensure positive customer flow while audits are completed
  • Perform Park cashier and SOP audits as needed
  • Assist with special projects in the Finance department as needed
  • Ensure excellent customer (internal & external) service by responding to customer requirements, expectations and needs
  • Enter and reconcile daily sales from internal and external revenue systems
  • Back-office ticket printing responsibilities
  • Occasionally assist other locations and areas throughout the park as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel applications
  • Strong basic math skills using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills
  • Able to write effective business correspondence
  • Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to manage time wisely and set priorities effectively
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Able to regularly use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, sometimes above head, handle, feel, stoop or kneel
  • Able to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Able to stand, sit and/or kneel for prolonged periods of time
  • Able to positively interact with park guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs
  • Able to work indoors and in outside weather conditions (i.e., direct sunlight, wet and/or humid)
  • Able to work in an environment with moderate noise levels
  • Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English

Compensation: $16.85 per hour
