WHS 1st Shift Picker/Packer
PART TIME WHS PICKER/PACKER Warehouse Associates - $17 thru $20
Schedule: Saturday from 6:30 a.m. - 5:30 a.m. MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK, WRITE AND UNDERSTAND ENGLISH Shop LC is looking for energetic and motivated warehouse members willing to work hard and have fun!
Job Responsibilities - Pull and fill orders
- Unloading containers
- Prepare merchandise for shipment
- Maintain quality service by following organizational standards
- Stock merchandise
- Data entry as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times
- Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed
- Walk for a long period of time
- Flexible to work holidays and weekends
About You (skills/experience) - Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to pay attention to details
- Clear written and oral communication skills required
- Ability to follow documented procedures and standards

Physical Requirements - Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps
- Moving around to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
- Remaining in a stationary position, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Frequently lift 20-50lbs and occasionally lift 50 to 70 pounds.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Operating machinery and/or power tools.
- Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
- Walk for a long period of time

VGL operates a 24/7 live electronic retail in the UK as TJC ( besides Shop LC ( in the US. VGL is a publicly listed and actively traded corporation in Indian stock exchanges. It also has Private Equity backing from well-known PE firms. VGL's total employee (Full time and contract) strength is approx. 3500 worldwide.
We strongly believe in giving back to our communities. Through our One for One program, we donate one nutritious meal to a school-going child in India, the US, and the UK for each item sold through all its platforms. This program has created immense engagement with our customers, team members, and communities that we operate in.
We broadcast live TV feeds to over 75 Million US homes. We ship approximately 35,000 products every day. Approximately 60% of our revenue accrues via TV and 40% via Web. We house our warehousing, customer service, merchandising, marketing, e-commerce, live studio, management, etc., in Austin. The call center is outsourced to third parties in the US, South America, and Asia. We have had double-digit CAGR last five years.
We currently employ over 500 people in Austin. Approximately 75% of our sales come from jewelry, with the balance coming from lifestyle products. We see the huge market potential in the US for its discount electronic retail through TV, Web, OTT, Marketplaces, and social channels. Our digital business is growing very rapidly, and we are very excited about our future growth prospects.
