PRINT PRODUCTION MANAGER
The Print Production Manager will report to the two Owners of the company.
Job Overview
The job of Print Production manager, which is essential to the business and operation, will manage all in-house and vendor driven print production jobs. This perfect person will coordinate with customer service and ownership to ensure quality control and timely delivery. In addition, tracking, recordkeeping and inventory will be essential to the role.
The successful candidate will be internally motivated, driven, eager to learn and able to adapt quickly.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the leadership team at Ink Barrel.
Responsibilities and Duties
● Manage and control production on a fleet of Digital Production Printers.
● Layout jobs during pre-production.
● Manage project status and materials to ensure timely production.
● Maintain accurate records and inventory.
● Utilize numerous software packages for success including job management, inventory management, pricing, and shipping.
● Provide updates to company leadership regarding job status, inventory levels and issues that may need to be addressed.
Qualifications
● High School Degree Required, 2 or 4-year College Degree Preferred
● Candidate must have experience in the print industry, preference given to specific experience with Print Production
● Candidate must be computer/software proficient and willing to be professionally trained on specific software
● Successful candidate will be internally motivated, driven, eager to learn and adapt quickly. A desire for professional development and growth as well as comfortability with change are both a plus.
● Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
