The Housing Authority of Jackson County (HAJC) is looking for a seasoned housing professional who can combine regulatory expertise, empathetic leadership, and strong property management skills. As a Portfolio Manager I, you’ll be entrusted to oversee operations across multiple properties, support site managers, and ensure lease compliance across a diverse, mission-driven housing portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who wants to lead with both heart and structure, ensuring residents are supported, property standards are met, and Housing Authority programs are administered with excellence. The starting range for this position is $4,141-$4,531 per month (equivalent to steps 1-3 on the HAJC salary schedule, depending on experience and qualifications). The full salary range for this role extends up to $5,444 per month (Step 7). This position has the potential to grow into a Portfolio Manager II position with a salary range of $4,731-$6,238 per monthl.
