Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, an affiliate of Authority Brands Inc., is actively hiring experienced, motivated Plumbers for our Cincinnati, OH office. Our Plumbers perform diagnostic, service, and installation work in accordance with relevant codes in residential and light commercial environments. Our office is under new management and were excited about growing our team with like-minded, positive-thinking individuals!


Experienced Plumbers can expect to earn between $65,000 and $100,000 annually. Plus, were currently offering a sign-on bonus of up to $5000 to the right candidates!

Responsibilities:

• Perform residential and light commercial service calls to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues.


• Identify potential problems to prevent premature and/or unexpected breakdowns/callbacks.


• Maintain and repair plumbing systems carrying water, waste, and fuel in heating.


• Inspect water and gas systems to ascertain malfunctions.


• Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, test joints, and pipe systems.


• Interpret drawings and specifications to determine layout requirements.


• Review blueprints, building codes, or specifications to determine work details and procedure.


• Measure, cut, thread, bend, ream, and install pipes and pipe fittings.


• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures using hand or power tools.


• Maintain properly cleaned and stocked service vehicle.


• Participate in periodic inventory and truck inspections.


• Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and use all tools in a safety-conscious manner.


• Provide pricing to the customer for approval prior to performing any work.


• Retain 90% of Membership Clients and maintain an 85% appointment conversion ratio in the home.


• Maximize lead opportunities based on companys business plan.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable plumbing experience in a residential service and maintenance operation.


• Knowledge of local and national plumbing codes.


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.


• Basic change order cost estimating experience.


• Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Word and Excel.


• GED or high school diploma required.


• Associates degree in related field preferred.


• Valid drivers license and a clean driving record required.


• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen required.
