Are you passionate about helping students build emotional regulation skills alongside academic success? Were looking for a Special Education Teacher to support a small group of middle schoolers (6th8th grade) navigating social-emotional and behavioral challenges.

Youll lead a classroom of up to 10 students with mild to moderate needs, working collaboratively with school teams and families to create a safe, structured environment where kids can grow, both personally and academically.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Teaching and supporting students with emotional and behavioral regulation goals

• Implementing individualized strategies through IEPs and behavioral plans

• Collaborating with counselors, related service providers, and classroom teachers

• Building strong relationships with students and families

• Leading a calm, consistent classroom that prioritizes trust and structure

• Helping students learn how to manage emotions, resolve conflict, and engage meaningfully in school

Who You Are:

• You have a valid TSP license in Oregon (required)

• You ideally hold a Special Education endorsement (preferred)

• Youve worked in schools before and understand the middle school mindset

• You bring patience, structure, and compassion to your teaching

• You believe in progress over perfection and in meeting students where they are
