The Manager, Ancillary Strategy & Development, is a member of the Pricing & Ancillary Strategy team within the Pricing & Revenue Management, Sales, and Distribution (PRMSD) department at Amtrak. This position is responsible for the development, execution, and optimization of all ancillary revenue programs across Amtraks national network. The role is responsible for identifying new revenue opportunities, partnering with Product team to evaluate and execute new opportunities, managing vendor relationships, and enhancing the customer experience through value-added services such as seat upgrades, baggage options, retailing strategyincluding both onboard retail programs and digital merchandising, digital enhancements, and developing product bundles. The role will be tasked with identifying new ancillary products and growth of a $100M ancillary revenue portfolio.
The salary/hourly range is $113,200.00 $146,664.00. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. Depending on an employees assigned worksite or location, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to be applied to the employees base salary. Amtrak may offer additional incentive and pay programs to recognize and reward our employees, including a short-term incentive bonus based upon factors such as individual and company performance that is commensurate with the level of the position and/or long-term incentive plan compensation.
