Job Description
We are a company located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado with clients around the United States. Currently, we are looking to fill a few full-time work-from-home openings for a Medical Insurance Representative in your area. Essential duties will be to handle medical billing, follow-up tasks, appeals, and obtain payment and ensure accurate account resolution. We are looking for professionals who will represent our company well.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
· Proficiency in Epic, Meditech, or Cerner systems required
· Possess excellent phone and customer service skills and abilities
· Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
· Proficient in professional and hospital billing and follow-up tasks (inclusive of payer calls and use of portals)
· Medicare billing experience preferred
· Experience filing medical insurance appeals
· ICD-10 coding knowledge preferred
· Organized and dependable and analytical
· Accurate and thorough in performing work assignments
· Able to work well independently and with a team
· Able to meet established goals
· Adaptable and resourceful
· Bilingual skills a plus, but not required
· High speed internet
· A quiet work space, void of distractions or background noises
