Responsibilities & Expectations:
The Enid Service Center is looking for a Mechanic who will disassemble and cleaning electro-mechanical equipment, replace or repair worn components, retest equipment, assisting other mechanics, conduct teardowns and assemblies and performing various skilled or non-skilled duties independently and as directed by supervisors or managers. Responsibilities and duties include:
\n - Read job cards for status, work authorizations, and problem descriptions.
\n - Test electro-mechanical equipment for known or suspected issues using various methods (AC or DC).
\n - Disassemble equipment, noting parts details and condition.
\n - Clean equipment assemblies using various methods.
\n - Measure or note proper replacement parts and requisition items as approved.
\n - Replace or repair worn assemblies (e.g., bearings, brushes, gears).
\n - Retest reassembled equipment for proper operation.
\n - Complete accurate and timely paperwork for each job.
\n - Operate specialized repair and testing equipment.
\n - Observe safety procedures and use proper protective gear.
\n - Lift, tighten, adjust, or secure heavy objects.
\n - Maintain a clean work area as directed by the supervisor.
\n - Assist other mechanics or shop personnel as directed.
\n - Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
\n - Run test panels independently.
\n - Teardown, inspect, and assemble rolling element bearing motors and pumps without supervision.
\n - Conduct RCFA with supervision.
\n - Verify machine work accuracy without supervision.
\n - Read, verify, and record external winding connections independently.
\n - Complete the required paperwork accurately and on time.
\n - Assist in the teardown, inspection, and assembly of various equipment without supervision.
\n - Measure rotor TIR without supervision.

Qualifications and Competencies:
\n - Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical skills.
\n - Effective English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
\n - Capability to comprehend, execute, and retain various skill-based training, as well as operational and safety procedures as demonstrated by a supervisor.
\n - Safety-conscious professional with the ability to perform tasks in dynamic environments with moving components.
\n - Comfortable working in confined spaces and at elevated heights to ensure a secure and efficient workspace.
\n - Regularly handle loads of up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
\n - Quick response ability to avoid or mitigate potentially dangerous situations, navigate uneven terrain safely, and climb ladders with up to 50 pounds.
\n - Regular duties involve standing, walking, using hands for various tasks, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and talking or hearing.
