Slate Electrical is looking to hire a knowledgeable Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our team in greater Helena and Bozeman Montana. We are a locally owned and operated company with roots in the Helena Valley. We strive to create a positive work environment for our employees while providing high quality product to our customers. As a Journeyman you will be part of our team as well as heading up our service department. Normal work hours will be from 7AM to 5PM Monday through Thursday with possible overtime (if necessary) during a busy times.

*Requirements:*

● Have a positive attitude

● Exceptional customer service skills

● Valid Montana Journeyman license (or reciprocating state)

● Applicants must have a strong work ethic and be willing to work hard for 10 hours a day while keeping others on the project efficient as well.

● Journeyman must have the ability to understand specifications and blueprints.

● Be knowledgeable and up to date on all National Electric Code requirements

● Highly knowledgeable on all electrical systems and have the ability to execute these systems up to local and NEC codes.

● Electrical system troubleshooting

● Have strong communication skills as you will be talking with home owners, contractors and coworkers.

● Have the ability to plan ahead and keep yourself as well as others supplied with the proper material and tools needed for daily projects.

*Licenses:*

● Valid Montana Journeyman license (or reciprocating state)

● Valid driver's license

*Responsibilities*
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend solutions to ensure safety and compliance.
* Utilize hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
* Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for accurate installations.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
* Adhere to NEC regulations and safety standards to uphold quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $47.00 per hour
