Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced working Lead Hand to oversee and coordinate construction activities on-site with one or two other construction workers under them. As a Working Lead Hand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for supervising team members, managing resources, and maintaining effective communication between all parties involved in the project.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
• Review blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and ensure accurate implementation.
• Utilize construction management software such as Buildertrend for project tracking and documentation.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards and specifications.
• Assist in budgeting and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors to facilitate smooth workflow on-site.
• Prepare reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions for management review.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics.
• Familiarity with construction management software, particularly Buildertrend or similar tools.
• Knowledge of quality control practices within the construction field.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
