Machine Operator Entry Level

Shifts:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM

2nd Shift: 4:00 PM 2:30 AM

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on person to help operate CNC machines and laser equipment in our growing shop. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who wants to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload materials to support machine operators
• Learn how to run CNC machines over time
• Help with basic machine setup
• Use simple measuring tools like micrometers and calipers (we can train)
• Assist with basic maintenance and troubleshooting
• Gain exposure to CNC programming (G/M code)

What Helps You Succeed

• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience
• Comfort using measuring tools (or willingness to learn)
• Basic understanding of machines or electrical/mechanical systems
• Ability to read simple blueprints
• Experience with sheet metal is a plus but not required
• 23 weeks of 1st-shift training required

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
