Job Title: Junior Event Manager

Location: Provision HQ – Jacksonville, Florida

About Provision Events

Since 2004, Provision Events has partnered with the world’s leading brands, governing bodies, and marketing agencies to bring sport to life through unforgettable live activations and Hospitality interior fit outs.

With offices in the UK, USA, and Middle East, Provision delivers world-class experiences across every corner of the globe.

While golf is our heritage, our expertise spans football, rugby, tennis, cricket, and beyond - with our activations featured at some of the most prestigious events in sport, including The Olympics, The Ryder Cup, The PGA and European Tours, Wimbledon, The Open Championship, and The Hong Kong 7s.

Our reputation is built on one simple belief: the event must happen - without fail. Through meticulous planning, creative problem-solving, and an unrelenting work ethic, we ensure every project is delivered to the highest standard, no matter the challenge.

Role Overview

As a Junior Event Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in the planning, setup, delivery, and breakdown of live sports activations across the U.S. and internationally. This is a fast-paced, detail-critical role ideal for someone looking to build experience in event delivery and client-facing communication within a high-performing global team.

You’ll work closely with our Lead Event Managers and Operations team to bring concepts to life on site — managing logistics, supporting team operations, ensuring quality, and learning the full process from ground build to live activation.

This position demands initiative, adaptability, and a solutions-first mindset. Long hours, challenging conditions, and travel are part of the experience — but so are career-defining opportunities, hands-on learning, and rapid progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Lead Event Managers during all event phases — build, live, and breakdown.
  • Assist with logistics, on-site coordination, and client/venue communication.
  • Help manage team operations including staff scheduling, briefing, and on-site reporting.
  • Take ownership of specific site areas or activations, ensuring they meet brand and safety standards.
  • Provide on-site problem-solving — anticipating issues and contributing creative, forward-thinking solutions.
  • Gather event feedback, reporting operational insights and client notes to the HQ team.
  • Support expense tracking and ensure delivery aligns with client-approved scope and budget.
  • Represent Provision professionally to clients, partners, and the public at all times.
  • Assist with warehouse responsibilities when not out at events

About You

You are motivated, practical, and thrive in environments that demand focus, resilience, and flexibility. You’re eager to learn from experienced team leaders and grow your skills in client communication, leadership, and logistical management.

Requirements:

  • A genuine interest in sports and live events.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to think two steps ahead.
  • Comfortable taking direction but confident enough to take initiative and make decisions under pressure.
  • Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and extended periods away from home (up to 6 weeks at a time).
  • Physically capable of manual work in varying weather conditions.
  • Prior knowledge & experience with building modular structures and using basic tools
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Prior experience in sports, events, or customer-facing roles is advantageous.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
  • Exposure to logistics, operations, or live event builds.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Travel, accommodation, uniform, and meal expenses covered while away
  • Medical insurance
  • Opportunities for career growth within one of the fastest-growing event production teams in the U.S.
  • Mentorship and training from experienced senior event professionals
  • A front-row seat to some of the biggest live sports events in the world

Join us and help deliver the moments that make sport unforgettable
