Our Supply Chain team plays an integral role in our end-to-end operations, ensuring that product is received from our global factories and delivered to our customers on time. Our Supply Chain team is in need of a strong, team-oriented Demand Planning Manager with excellent communication and planning skills.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Forecast customer demands based on historic patterns and interactions with the sales team, customer leaders, and other key stakeholders
  • Plan purchases based on forecast demand
  • Create Purchase Orders and track the PO throughout its entire life cycle.
  • Coordinate inventory replenishment to support customer needs
  • Track and maintain proper levels of stocked inventory
  • Proactively report product and material availability issues
  • Monitor and drive resolution of MRP errors
  • Analyze excess and obsolete inventory and develop plans to eliminate
  • Maintain planning parameters in the ERP system
  • Ensure all materials are received on time and follow up on all POs to ensure scheduled delivery dates are met
  • Facilitate daily/weekly/monthly meetings as needed
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop action plans to resolve issues and prevent a recurrence
  • Keep key stakeholders informed of any potential problems with suppliers that may impact company performance.
  • Maintain accurate records in the ERP system and other company systems
  • Communicate all changes in material price or lead times to the affected teams and update reports and ERP systems to reflect the changes
  • Assess risks and gaps within the schedule and communicate them appropriately
  • Coordinates customer special requests for production or delivery needs
  • Coordinates with the customer and cross-functional teams to fulfill special production requests and delivery needs
  • Identify and resolve all constraints preventing the production plan from being accomplished
  • Effectively utilize problem-solving skills to recognize the issues and provide solutions

Role Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in a related field or 5+ years of experience working with an ERP system in a wholesale import environment required
  • Proven ability to ensure product availability, while reducing inventory and increasing inventory turns
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to cooperate with team members, including a team in Asia
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience with multiple ERP systems is a plus
  • Previous experience with procurement in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Previous experience with planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment is required
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Access / Excel to maintain databases and create reports and charts.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret data
  • Highly organized, focused on detail and showing high level of accuracy
  • Experience managing international vendors required
