Industrial (Automotive) Painter | Pay Range: $20 .00 – $22.00 per hour (DOE) | High Point, NC Area

Both shifts open today 1st & 2nd shift shift

About the Role

Looking for a great opportunity in the New Year? Join our client’s stable and growing team in the Triad Area as an Industrial Painter (Automobile Painter) . In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and applying paint and coatings to automotive parts and products, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet both company and customer standards.

Responsibilities

• Hold or position spray guns to direct spray onto articles
• Fill hoppers, reservoirs, troughs, or pans with material used to coat, paint, or spray
• Start and stop operation of spray machines using levers or buttons
• Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality through visual inspection or by using viscometers
• Attach hoses or nozzles to machines using tools and make necessary adjustments to achieve proper dispersion of spray
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience as an industrial or automotive painter preferred
• Knowledge of paint mixing, spraying techniques, and finish quality standards
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect work for defects
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and noise levels
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills
