About Our Client:
Our client is a leading full-service design-build MEP contractor delivering innovative building solutions across commercial, healthcare, education, and institutional markets. With a strong reputation for collaboration and technical excellence, they are expanding their team and seeking an HVAC Design Drafter with strong Revit skills to support their growing project pipeline.

Position Overview:
The HVAC Design Drafter will be responsible for creating accurate, detailed system drawings that bring engineering concepts to life. This individual will work closely with engineers and project managers to produce coordinated, constructible HVAC plans using Revit. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Revit modeling, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced design-build environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed HVAC drawings and layouts in Revit for design-build projects.

  • Work closely with HVAC engineers and project managers to translate design concepts into coordinated, buildable models.

  • Draft air distribution systems, ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts in compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements.

  • Assist in identifying and resolving design conflicts through multi-trade coordination (MEP and architectural).

  • Maintain drawing accuracy throughout the design and construction phases, including revisions and updates.

  • Organize drawing sets and ensure documentation aligns with project standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Revit (required) ; AutoCAD experience a plus.

  • 2+ years of drafting or design experience in HVAC, mechanical, or MEP projects.

  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components preferred.

  • Ability to interpret and work from engineering sketches, markups, and construction documents.

  • Attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate work under deadlines.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
