Fire Watch Attendant
Easton, ME - PT/Days - Temporary

Job Description:

Looking for responsible individuals to act as Fire Watch Attendants for a large production facility in Easton during maintenance shutdowns. No previous experience needed - paid training will be provided. Good communication skills a must. PT/Days; shifts are usually every other Tuesday from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, though hours may change as needed. $19.30/hr.

The Fire Watch Attendant looks for potential safety hazards in the workplace while site maintenance is being performed by other employees. Employee will stand by while repairs are being carried out in high-risk areas to ensure that all personnel on the job site are safe and accounted for. Must be able to alert fellow workers of emergencies and keep detailed records of job site activity.

Responsibilities:

• Watch for potential safety hazards in the workplace while maintenance crews are on site.
• Maintain the conditions and requirements stated during safety training.
• Quickly and clearly alert site supervisor and first responders in the event of a emergency.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication; must be able to understand and relay directions effectively.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Steel-toed boots required.

Schedule: PT/Days; appx. 10 hours every other Tuesday, though schedule may vary.
Pay: $19.30/hr.
