Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Manager 31258 Position Type: Direct Hire Salary: ~ +/- $90,000—$110,000 [Depending on experience] + full benefits Hours: M-F, ~ 8a--5p (Flexibility to start at 7:30am, possibly 7am after training) Location: Hampton, GA 30228 Company Overview: Join a leading manufacturer of equipment for the utility industry, specializing in high voltage switch disconnectors. With 450 employees on site, our client focuses on innovation and quality in the power industry. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations Develop and maintain EH&S policies and procedures Lead improvement initiatives and establish EH&S action plans Serve as an EH&S subject matter expert Manage silver plating and electro-tinning production processes and personnel Conduct safety training and regular risk assessments Oversee hazardous waste handling and ensure regulatory compliance Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions Compile and publish EH&S reports Requirements: Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or relevant technical discipline 7+ years of EH&S management experience in manufacturing Knowledge of ISO and OSHA standards Strong communication and leadership skills Familiarity with environmental sustainability and corporate guidance Preferred: CSP, CIH, REM, or other nationally recognized certifications.
