Position Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drupal Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and a deep understanding of Drupal CMS. As a Drupal Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Drupal-based websites and applications. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities: o Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal websites and applications. o Collaborate with project managers and other developers to define project requirements and specifications. o Implement responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using Drupal themes and templates. o Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. o Use and help to manage pattern libraries. o Perform site-building activities, including creating and configuring content types, views, and taxonomies. o Integrate third-party APIs and services with Drupal applications. o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website performance, security, and functionality. o Conduct peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. o Evaluate all Drupal security notices for impact on the codebase, preparing hot fix if needed. o Propose and code fixes for bugs and other issues. o Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Drupal and web development technologies. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). o Minimum of 4 years' experience developing in Drupal 8 and 9. o Experience migrating to Drupal 10. o Experience with integrating contributed modules into a Drupal site. o Experience with creating and updating Twig templates. o Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies. o Experience with Drupal 8/9 development, including custom module and theme development. o Familiarity with Drupal's API and hooks system. o Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git. o Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices. o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. o Excellent communication and teamwork skills. o Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: o Drupal Certification (e.g., Acquia Certified Developer - D10, Acquia Certified Back-End Specialist - D10, Acquia Certified Front-End Specialist - D10). o Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React or Angular. o Experience with AWS. o Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,500.00 - $173,500.00.
