The Role: Director, HCP Marketing Lead, Vimseltinib

Deciphera is seeking a seasoned, dynamic commercial marketer with rare disease and oncology experience to help prepare for the launch of Vimseltinib, an orally administered, potent and highly selective switch-control kinase inhibitor of CSF1R, currently in development for the treatment for tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT). This role will be responsible for all aspects of HCP marketing for the launch of Vimseltinib.

The role will own all aspects for development and implementation of the HCP launch plan for Vimseltinib. Reporting directly to the Brand Lead for Vimseltinib, this person will work in close partnership with key stakeholders across the brand team, playing a lead role in HCP promotions for Vimseltinib. This is a critical commercial function which will be instrumental in Deciphera’s continued evolution into a fully integrated, multi-product, commercial biopharma company. The person in this role must be comfortable with operating at strategic and operational levels, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and influencing without authority.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop end-to-end HCP launch strategy for Vimseltinib and execute the plan flawlessly
• Build and execute HCP marketing strategy and associated initiatives, inclusive of unbranded disease education and branded promotions
• Lead creation and delivery of core HCP assets in close collaboration with key cross-functional partners
• Establish KPIs (both leading and lagging indicators) to measure performance, inclusive of multi-channel media measurement (NPP)
• Develop messaging framework and associated tactics to differentiate Vimseltinib from competitors amongst targeted HCPs (e.g., Core Claims, Core Sales Aid, etc.)
• Drive growth of the TGCT market through innovative, outside the box strategies and tactics
• Identify levers for driving growth of the addressable TGCT market in collaboration with the Insights and Analytics team (amongst others)
• Create strategy, tactics, and measurement plan, and adjust as needed to maximize effectiveness
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to build and implement marketing plans
• Manage partner agency relationships, workflow, and related expense budgets
• Ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of all patient marketing materials
• Be comfortable in interfacing with and presenting to senior leadership on performance and other business critical information
• Role involves business travel approximately 30% of time

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business-related and/or life sciences field required. An MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 7 + years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• 4+ years of experience in digital marketing inclusive of CRM, display, social media, email, website, and digital measurement plans
• Oncology and rare disease launch experience is highly desired
• Operational knowledge of medical, regulatory, legal review process
• Eager to work in a fast-paced environment, striving for excellence in everything we do, alongside a team driven by improving the lives of patients
• Track record of working effectively across stakeholders at all levels, influencing without authority, collaboration, and communication skills
