Newlin Ventures, an emerging venture fund & global angel syndicate led by Grant Newlin, is looking for MBA deal flow intern for the Summer 2025 term. Newlin invests in Pre-Seed to Series A companies in Internet of Food, Food / Ag Tech from "Land to Label", Consumer, Insurtech, B2B, and IoT across the North and South America ("Americas") and India / Pakistan ("INPAK").
This is an entrepreneurial position in a startup VC firm. The internship is unpaid , and we expect you to put in 20 hours a week minimum. It will be initially remote, with hybrid and on-site options for Austin, TX / Chicago, USA, Sao Paulo, BRA. If you're interested in VC, this is a great opportunity to use as a steppingstone to a larger fund for full-time offers. **REMOTE APPLICANTS ARE ACCEPTABLE**
Deal flow lead: You'll own the entire deal process, from sourcing to investment, and post close relationships. Historically, we invest in ~1 deal per month, so you'll quite possibly close an investment.
Dealflow lead will the opportunity to intake and cultivate outbound dealflow relationships, run due diligence process, and own the post-close relationship with founders.
At Newlin Ventures, we review up to 500 deals per month as a team. As such, you will have the opportunity to present your best deals to the team during our weekly dealflow discussion. You will also have full and open to access directly with the GP, Grant. Cross functional opportunities to work with other team members / interns will be abundant.
Previous venture capital / related experience preferred.
