Darwin’s Natural Pet Products ( is seeking a CRM Specialist to help deepen customer relationships through personalized, effective, and timely email and SMS marketing. You’ll play a key role in managing our CRM efforts to help drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention of our subscriber base.

About the Role

As the CRM Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full suite of marketing campaigns to support customer acquisition, and retention through both marketing and transactional communications. The ideal candidate has proven ability to manage and optimize CRM programs end-to-end and partner with internal teams in marketing, operations, customer service, & analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own CRM execution : Build and manage automated email and SMS flows, campaigns, and A/B tests in Klaviyo that support the customer lifecycle—from onboarding and engagement to win-backs and reactivations.

  • Customer segmentation : Develop, manage, and refine customer segments based on behavior, preferences, and lifecycle stage to drive personalization and relevance.

  • Campaign strategy & calendar : Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute an integrated campaign calendar aligned with promotions, product launches, and seasonal initiatives.

  • Performance analysis : Monitor and report on campaign performance using Klaviyo and other analytics tools; derive actionable insights and continuously iterate for improvement.

  • List health & compliance : Manage subscriber list hygiene, opt-in/opt-out compliance, and deliverability best practices to maintain a healthy CRM ecosystem.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent field
    • or 2-4 years work experience in a content or communications role

  • Skills and Experience

  • Experience with Klaviyo (or similar platform)
  • Segmentation and audience development
  • Creation and design of email templates
  • CRM configuration and automation
  • Basic email html knowledge
  • Passion for pets
