Job Title: Corporate Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Associate Attorney
ABOUT : Our client is a nationally recognized, award-winning firm, seeking a highly skilled and motivated associate to join their Finance team, with a focus on restructuring and special situations finance . This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, market-leading transactions at the intersection of finance and restructuring.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience advising creditors or borrowers on liability management transactions , debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings , bankruptcy exit financings , and/or special situations lending . Familiarity with distressed debt investing, rescue financings, and high-yield or bridge financings is highly desirable.
This position will work closely with our client's Global Finance group while collaborating extensively with attorneys in their elite Business Restructuring & Reorganization team. Associates will have the opportunity to work on sophisticated, top-of-the-capital-structure transactions, including hedge funds, CLOs, private equity sponsors , and other financial institutions. Engagements will span chapter 11 cases , out-of-court restructurings , and event-driven financings .
Qualifications:
JD from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction in good standing
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
Annual base salary range : $365,000 $435,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
