Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Commercial HVAC Service Manager to lead and oversee our HVAC service department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all service operations, including scheduling, team management, customer relations, quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. This role requires excellent leadership, technical knowledge, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the HVAC service department, including scheduling service calls, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Oversee service technicians, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure high-quality performance and professional growth.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving service-related issues promptly.
• Ensure efficient scheduling and dispatching of service calls to optimize technician productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure service quality, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory levels, equipment, tools, and parts, coordinating with vendors and suppliers to maintain necessary stock.
• Monitor departmental budget, job costing, and financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and profitability improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation, service records, and reports on department performance.
• Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement process enhancemen

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC service management, preferably in commercial environments.
• Proven technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repairs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with service management software.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Certifications:

• Experience managing commercial HVAC projects or service teams.
• Familiarity with budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management.
• Certifications in HVAC and related technical or safety training.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to comfortably visit job sites and navigate construction environments.
