Our health insurance client is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer. The ideal candidate will have around 7 or more years of experience in cloud engineering roles, specifically a background in Azure, Teradata, and Databricks.

Pay rate: $55-65/hr w2

Must be onsite 3 days/week in Nashville, TN office

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.

Responsibilities

• Supporting a cloud migration effort, going from AWS to Azure
• Build out new infrastructure from scratch in the Azure environment using IaC
• Migrate applications/infrastructure from AWS over to Azure
• Assist team members in adoption of Azure cloud services
• Integrate Teradata and Databricks with cloud environment

Must-have Qualifications

• Around 7 or more years experience in cloud engineering
• Experience deploying cloud infrastructure with IaC tools like Terraform, Bicep, etc
• 5+ years working in Azure cloud environments
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services
• Experience working with both Databricks and Teradata in a cloud environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AWS
• Experience working on cloud migration efforts, ideally into Azure
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts
• Healthcare/insurance industry background

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
