Paying up to $125/hr (all-inclusive) Psychologist Opportunity working with the acutely mentally ill population.

This is a six month contract with the option to extend the contract or roll over to a FT position.

Job description

Client in the Salem area is in need of a psychologist to work on a contractual full-time basis. This is a hospital setting working Monday - Friday from 8:00 to 5:00 (they are flexible with schedules).

Job Duties

- Provide patients with individual psychotherapy as assigned.

- Provide group therapy services on unit or within the treatment mall as assigned.

- Provide clinical psychology services in the form of psychological assessment and testing within the limits of the psychologist's expertise and privileging, consultation, treatment (individual, group, mileau).

- Performs risk assessments of patients as requested.

- Completes evaluations within specified deadlines.

- Completes and documents psychological evaluations that include baseline psychological testing.

- Completes psychological evaluations utilizing assessment techniques that address personality, intellectual, and cognitive impairments, as well as risk and malingering assessments within the limits of the psychologist's expertise.

Job Requirements
Ideal candidates will have experience with evidence based practice within inpatient setting working with patients with serious mental illness.
Current licensure in Oregon.'

Experience:
intake assessments, cognitive, personality, etc. assessment: 1 year (Preferred)
hospital or forensic settings: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
PsyD or PHD (Required)
Oregon psychology license (Preferred)
