Pay Rate: $22.50/hr

JOB SUMMARY
Join our team as a reliable CDL Class B Driver, responsible for the seamless delivery and pickup of containers from customer locations. Bring your driving skills to provide effective service while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism, ensuring proper loading and unloading of containers.
• Conduct thorough pre and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift.
• Adapt to add-on deliveries to fulfill business needs effectively.
• Utilize a company-issued handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
• Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as needed.
• Ensure containers are clean and presentable prior to customer delivery.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payments directly with customers.
• Communicate proactively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager about any customer inquiries or issues, and document driver notes when necessary.
• Perform on-site repairs of containers and lifts as required.
• Assist with storage center operations when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck cab, both inside and outside!
• Undertake additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reports typically to the Management team, specifically to the Market Manager or Territory Manager.
• This role does not involve direct management of other employees.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL Class B License Required, with no air brake restriction.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license.
• Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards.
• 21 years of age or older (insurance requirement).
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain a minimum of a 1-year certification (DOT requirement).
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred.
• Basic math skills to perform necessary duties.
• Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience may be accepted.
• Must be able to attend the required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
