Bank Teller

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BANK TELLER

As a Bank Teller, you will assist consumer and business customers with a variety of banking services. You are responsible for ensuring our customers are provided with excellent service. You will do this by processing transactions and assisting with Digital banking, Debit card and general account questions in person and via phone while adhering to bank policy, procedures and banking regulations. Each day, you enjoy working with our Retail team, ensuring Consumer and Business customer transactions are processed in an efficient and professional manner.

You work closely with the other members of the Retail team to ensure all daily tasks are completed. Your ability to complete your work accurately serves you well as you process proof work while reviewing transactions for accuracy and risk indicators. Your organizational skills are utilized to track and monitor the bank's supply needs and place orders as appropriate. With the goal of providing great service, you identify and explain the benefits of products and services to customers. You build a network of relationships with peers to identify opportunities for improvement. You feel great about helping provide features and functionality to our customers while contributing to the success of our bank!

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School degree or GED Required (Open to High School Work Program applicants)

• Ability to properly handle confidential information required
• Satisfactory Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows skills required
• Prior banking experience preferred but not required

• Basic understanding of technology related to bank specific systems and software desirable
• Understanding of banking, compliance and industry laws and regulations preferred

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position with hours scheduled within our regular banking hours of Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm and rotating Saturdays from 9:00am-Noon .
