Dynamic individual needed who has experience in ASC surgery scheduling. It would be veryhelpful for the candidate to have experience in HST EMR. Job duties include but are not limited to

• Monitoring and organizing medical appointment slots and cancellations.
• Maintaining and updating a schedule that accurately denotes procedures performed and physicians involved.
• Scheduling surgical procedures, considering factors like desired date, surgery priority, and length.
• Ensuring efficient use of surgery suites and staff.
• Scheduling diagnostic tests, referrals, and other parts of the treatment plan as requested by physicians.
• Notifying patients and providers of any changes to the schedule.
• Ensuring patients are properly scheduled for diagnostic testing, referrals, and other parts of their treatment plan.
• Communicating with patients about their surgery schedule and providing pre-surgery instructions.
• Collecting patient data and insurance information
• Using the Electronic Medical Record to document patient communications.
• Coordinating surgical services with physicians' offices and other related departments.
• Coordinating with surgeons to enhance the overall organization of the surgery department.
• Serving as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and surgical teams.
