We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a part-time, long-term contract basis in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely management of financial transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy.

Responsibilities:
• Process and verify invoices to ensure accurate coding and appropriate approvals.
• Prepare and execute check runs, ensuring all payments are completed on time.
• Monitor and maintain accounts payable records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to verify and process invoice approvals.
• Assist in maintaining proper documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
• Handle inquiries related to accounts payable and provide clear, prompt responses.
• Support month-end closing activities by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations.• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in processing and coding invoices with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with check runs and other payment methods.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
